OAT fails with "oat_changeowner: fatal: libstdc++.so.5: open failed: No such file or directory"
The VAS client packages for solaris8-x86 and for solaris10-x64 will both install on an x86 Solaris 10 machine. However, if some packages are from solaris8-x86 and others are from solaris10-x64, there will be a mismatch of the stdc++ library versions.
Decide whether to use the Solaris 8 version or Solaris 10 version of VAS Client for Solaris x86.
List the package file names that were used in the installation. The package file names will contain either the string "SunOS_5.8_i386" or "SunOS_5.10_i386".
Uninstall any packages of the undesired version with pkgrm.
Install new packages of the correct version according to the Installation Guide
Note that pkginfo will not give enough information to see if the correct versions are installed, since it just provides "ARCH: i386" for both versions. The safest way to install the VAS client is with the install.sh script.
