Import of a soft token license fails with the error
"Defender Import Wizard
The import cannot proceed. Please ensure that the license types (permanent or temporary) are the same as the currently installed licenses and that the licenses cover all currently generated tokens."
Resolution 1:
Temporary licenses have expiry dates but permanent licenses do not. During the install process, the License Type screen will either show that the license expires DD/MM/YYYY or that the license is permanent.
The license type of an installed license can be seen by looking at its AD Properties. The only resolution for this problem is to use only one or the other of temporary or permanent licenses for a given soft token type.
Either a new permanent license must be purchased to match the existing permanent license, or the existing temporary license must be removed in order to install the new permanent licence.
Resolution 2:
Confirm the number of assigned tokens you have meets the license number allowance.
