The command is working as expected due to the account is configured for manual management in PAR. This means when a forced reset appi command occurs (clicking the "Reset Password" button in the GUI), PAR generates a password according to password rules, and then presents the password on the page. It is then the job of the a
administrator of that system to take that password, and either confirm that it has been set manually by the administrator himself on the target, or has not been set.
If you want PAR to change the password when you issue the "Force Reset" API command, the account will need to be "Auto" managed.
