When copying a user account, some attributes are not copied. -
Description
When copying a user account, not all attribute values get copied and policies may not take effect on the new user object.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
To enable copying an attribute when user is copied, set the Attribute is copied when duplicating user flag for the attribute using the Active Directory Schema snapin.
You can specify which default attributes are carried over to a newly copied user or specify additional attributes that will be copied to the new user as follows.- Open the Active Directory Schema snapin
- Locate the desired attribute by it's LDAP display name, for instance:
Title - personalTitle
Company - company
Country - co - In the AD Schema snapin, open the attribute properties
- Select (or clear) the Attribute is copied when duplicating user check box
- Repeat steps 2 - 4 for each required attribute
- Restart ARS Administration service to update the schema cache
Once the flag is set in Active Directory, and the ARS Administration Service is restarted, ARS will pick up the changes.
