PSM sessions intermittently fail to start for users. The following error pops up in the connection screen:
"RC=256 Unable to get the encrypted password. The session failed to start".
TPAM appliances and DPA's time and date settings are out of sync.
Ensure the Time and Date settings for all appliances are correct.
Log in to the /PARADMIN interface of the Primary - System Status/Settings Menu - Date/Time Configuration - Configure System Date Time settings.
If a DPA (Distributed Processing Appliance) is deployed then log on to the DPA via SSH and ensure the Time and Date settings are the same as the Primary. You can test the DPA via /PAR Interface - Management - DPA's - Select DPA - Click the Test button and review test data.
