How does QAS update user maps and when does it run?
An md5sum of the mapped user file is stored in the dirmon table of the QAS database. Every 30 seconds the file is md5’ed, and if its different it is processed
Usage: vas_muupd [-hdf] [--unmap-all] [--foriegn-identity=string]
[--directory-identity=string] [-g [1|2|3|4|5]] [--syslog]
-h Show usage
-d Log debug output
--unmap-all Unmap all users. Usually done only during an unjoin.
--foriegn-identity=string Map a specific foriegn identity to an Active Directory identity
--directory-identity=string Active Directory identity (samAccountName@domain) to map to a give foreign identity
-g [1|2|3|4|5] Override the default log level of 2, only valid with -d
-f Force a rebuild of mapped user cache
--syslog Log debug messages to syslog
