How does one remove the "Controlled By" from Group that used to belong to a Group Family? (88741)

Groups that used to belong to a Group Family were still showing in their properties that they were managed by Group Family X. This happened although the Group Family had been deleted.

Unknown as at time of deletion of Group Family, those groups should have been removed from Group Family and then turned into standard group. 

WORKAROUND:

To turn the group back to a normal group, try the following:

1. Clear the accountnamehistory attribute of the group - this alone should make the group a standard one
2. Ensure edsvaCGIscreatedbygroupfamily has a value of FALSE and it will be a normal group
3. Confirm you can manage it. If so, clear the description that was set by Group Family to a more appropriate one.
