Is migrating ActiveRoles Server from a physical server to virtual server supported?

Moving to a virtual server is supported. In the event that replication is enabled between ARS servers, there will be extra steps to make this go smoothly.

1. Right-click the Subscriber and delete it from the replication role (this needs to be done from the ARS Publisher service if replication is setup between two ARS servers)
2. If you are doing a direct physical to virtual migration, stop the ARS service (Quest ActiveRoles Administration Service)
3. Once the migration is completed, start the ARS service and confirm it connects to the SQL database
4. Go to the ARS publisher server and add the Subscriber back in following the instructions in the Active Roles Admin Guide
