When a Managed System is deleted the Host Key remains and when attempting to reuse the IP address for a new Managed System, it conflicts with the old Host Key entry. When the Admin tries to "Clear Sys Host Entry" it fails.
The solution for this is to login to the /parconfig interface and delete the old Host Key, however, the preference is for lower-level PAR Admins to handle this without Sys Admin involvement.
Is this not the purpose for the "Clear Sys. Host Entry" button? Shouldn't the PAR Administrators be able to resolve these types of issues on their own?
We have confirmed the processes are working properly, i.e., using the "Clear Sys. Host Entry" button, and have added BFER 4532 to request for the system delete process to remove known hosts.
