Is there any downtime associated with failing over to a Replica?

When failing over from the Primary to a Replica, is there any downtime or production outage associated with this?

When you initiate a failover in Safeguard for Privilege Passwords, all of the appliances in the Cluster will need to enter Maintenance Mode to complete the transition. After the fail over is complete, the appliances will resume operation with the new Primary appliance. 

So yes, there will be a momentary outage while the transition takes place, however, this should only take a few minutes to complete. So it will be very limited downtime.
