Can Safeguard Authentication Services (SAS) use LDAPS rather than LDAP?
No, SAS only supports LDAP (Port 389). LDAPS (Port 636) is not supported. Our LDAP traffic is secured via GSS-API.

Update: Nov 5th, 2024 - An enhancement request has been raised to investigate the possibility of adding LDAPS support for SAS. The ER number for reference is 469023 "SAS feature request 469023 for adding LDAPS support to SAS"
