In the Windows Event Collector (WEC) admin guide the following command is given to enable certificate authentication on the client.
# winrm set winrm/config/client/auth @{Certificate="true"}
However, the following error is reported when the command is run.

Enclose @{Certificate="true"} in single quotes (apostrophes) as follows# winrm set winrm/config/client/auth ‘@{Certificate="true"}’
Then run the command again to get the following output.
