Description
Safeguard's audit log management panel displays an error when clicking the Test button to send the audit logs to the Archive server."Test failed: Request to https://x.x.x.x/service/core/v3/AuditLog/retention/RunNow?archiveOnly=True failed. A task was canceled."

"Test failed: An unexpected ReadTimeoutException was thrown: Server timeout during read query at consistency LocalOne (x replica(s) responded over 1 required). (60109)."
When performing a "Run Now" on the archive it fails with error "Test failed: An unexpected ReadTimeouException was thrown: Server timeout during read query at consistency LocalOne (x replica(s) responded over 1 required). (60109)." -
Cause
The error in the user interface indicates that the desktop client exceeded the wait time and closed the connection. The process on the server could have continued and eventually been completed - or it could have had an error. The archive audit log will show whether the attempt to archive the data failed. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
1. Ensure the latest version of Safeguard is being used
2. Increase the days to retain to start, such that there is not as much data to archive immediately and slowly decrease the value.
For example:- Test changing the audit log setting "Archive and delete audit logs older than" from 90 to 180 days.- If this is also not successful, please then test with the value set to 365 days.- After a successful completion of the Audit Log archive, you should be able to slowly reduce the number after each run, until you have reached the required number of days.Note, in certain circumstances this may not resolve the issue.
