SSH key management is available from 6.6. To manually store SSH private keys:
1. Create the Unix/Linux asset
2. From the Accounts tab, add the relevant account, ensure "Enable SSH Key Request" is enabled.
3. Right click on the account and select | Account Security | Set SSH key
5. Click on Import.
6. Browse to the accounts Private Key File, enter password if required, click OK. After the file imports click on Close.
Note: Private key formats supported are OpenSSH PEM format, Putty, and Tectia SSH2.
7. Create a new entitlement or use an existing one, and create a new Access Request Policy. Set Credential Access type to "SSH Key"
8. Add the account, into the Scope
9. In "Access Config", untick "Change SSH Key after check-in"
10. Finish the Access Request Policy. Add the required users to the Entitlement
When a user requests the SSH key they will have have the option to download the private key in Putty, SSH2 or OpenSSH PEM format:
Click on More Info will allow the public key to be downloaded.
