Description

Error received when attempting to enroll an appliance as a Replica in a Cluster,

"The appliance found at <IP address> has already joined a sessions module and cannot join this cluster. (60652)"
Cause

The appliance being joined as a replica, had its internal sessions module disabled, as a result of a previous SPS join operation to enable external session management. The Cluster Primary was not joined to SPS and still had its internal sessions module enabled. This configuration conflict caused the join the fail.
Resolution

The solution is to re-enable the internal sessions module on the appliance you are attempting to join. This is accomplished by either performing a restore to a time when the internal sessions was not disabled (pre-SPS join), or by doing a factory reset.

Safeguard for Privileged Passwords appliances can only be clustered, when they have matching session module configuration.
