Network Address fields do not allow the use of the underscore character in FQDNs or hostnames (4260213)

The underscore character _ cannot be used in Network Address fields throughout SPP.

For example, if the FQDN of a server is test_server01.test.local and this is entered into the Network Address field when configuring an asset, it will not allow the configuration to continue.

The error message states, "You must specify a valid hostname or IP address for the network."

WORKAROUND

Use the IP address of the server/computer or change the FQDN or hostname to not include an underscore character.
