In SPP SqlServer and PostgreSQL assets can be configured to require SSL. In this case, users will be required to add the certificate to the Trusted Certificate store and trust the certificate SPP receives from the asset.
If an administrator then removes the trusted certificate, but doesn't change the asset (such that it still requires the now-removed certificate), platform operations will continue to succeed against the asset though they would be expected to fail since the required certificate is missing.
After a short period of time, up to two minutes, the operation will begin to fail as expected.
The database communication driver driver used to communicate with the asset caches the certificate.
Wait up to two minutes for Safeguard to refresh the driver.
