Authentication failed message appears when trying to RDP to target servers -
Description
When trying to connect to a target server, the error message below appears:
Authentication failed
Your Remote Desktop Services sessions has ended.
The connection to the remote computer was lost, possibly due to network connectivity problems. Try connecting to the remote computer again. If the problem continues, contact your network administrator or technical support.

Cause
Enabling the check box "Remember Me" when typing the credential ("sg") during initial RDP connection will cause this issue. -
Resolution
RESOLUTION:
- Navigate to the user's workstation Control Panel > Windows Credentials Manager > Remove the TERMSVR/ under Generic Credentials.
