Starling Agent ID does not get automatically set on discovered assets from Active Directory (4378560)

After correctly setting up Asset discovery type "Directory" and onboarding the assets using the "Starling Connect" platform and connection method, the Starling Agent ID is not automatically associated, preventing the Test connection and Account discovery to succeed until the Starling Agent ID is manually selected on the Asset's Connection tab.

Is there a way to automatically link the Starling Agent ID when using Asset Discovery type as Directory?

STATUS:

Enhancement Request # 480172 was submitted to add support to automatically link the Starling Agent ID when using Asset Discovery type from Directory for consideration in a future release of SPP.

WORKAROUND:

When using Directory type Asset Discovery, Manually select the Starling Agent ID in the Asset's connection tab.

Or

Use Asset Discovery type as Starling Connect instead of Directory when discovering those specific Assets which are using the Connect For Safeguard Assets feature.
