Appliance stops accepting connections.
It is impossible logon to the webUI with LDAP credentials, only with web admin local account.
The following lines appear in the system log:
Error during processing LDAP service request; method='authenticate_user', params='['CN=myCN,OU=myOU,DC=myDC,DC=net', "******"]', error='Error response received; error='{'message': 'Server error', 'code': -32000, 'data': {'message': '[Errno 24] Too many open files', 'args': [24, 'Too many open files'], 'type': 'OSError'}}''
The issue is fixed in version 5.10.0. Please upgrade to that version.
If you can not upgrade it is possible to apply a patch onto 5.9.0 or 5.9.0a firmware, please find it attached.
Usage:
- upload the patch via scp to the appliance into /mnt/firmware/root/ directory
- log in to core shell and execute:
bash ldapservice_5F9_patch.sh
Please note after the patching the core firmware will be marked as TAINTED. Before upgrading to 5.10 one as to remove the modifications the patch made. To do so please execute the following from core shell:
xcbclient self xcb_check_core_files | xargs rm
