Does SPS support other authentication methods besides NTLM for RDP? -
Resolution
Only NTLM authentication is valid via SPS RDP. If NTLM is disabled on either the client or the server side, RDP connections via SPS will fail.
Note there is also a Microsoft Security Group "Protected Users Security Group" which disables NTLM authentication.
