HTTP proxy does not support Server Name Indication (SNI) (4378470)

Currently, server_name information extracted from TLS client hello is never forwarded from the client side to the server side. This makes certain web servers which need SNI (Server Name Indication) unreachable via SPS

The HTTP Proxy does not currently support SNI because the proxy is not properly forwarding the SNI value to the server. 

Workaround 

Connect without the HTTP proxy

NOTE - This workaround may not be usable for some configurations.

Resolution

Defect 353044 has been raised for investigation and will be considered for inclusion in a future version of the product.
