After login to SPP Web UI a prompt appears to select a Certificate to authenticate to SPS -
Description
After upgrading to 8.0, users who login to SPP Web UI are getting a prompt "Select a certificate" - Select a certificate to authenticate yourself to {SPS-Hostname}:443.
In this case SPS is configured with a certificate based authentication but users are getting the select certificate prompt after logging into SPP web UI.

Cause
The SPS URL is loaded as part of the app switcher feature from the SPP Web UI

Resolution
STATUS:
Change Request # 492101 was submitted for consideration in a future release of SPP after successful QA testing and Product Management approval.WORKAROUND:
Click Cancel to close the "Select a certificate" pop-up window.
Note: It is an expected behavior when SPS is configured with certificate authentication that it will prompt the "Select a certificate" pop-up dialog.
