Error message “The total number of enabled user accounts exceeds the licensed number..” -
Description
Why does the message “The total number of enabled user accounts exceeds the licensed number..” appear at the top of the Password Manager Administration site?

Cause
Password Manager counts all enabled users in AD as potential users for license count, however the error is only a warning that appears in the Admin site and will not affect the functionality of the product. -
Resolution
To stop that warning banner please limit the license count by creating a group for accounts who will not access the Password Manager self-service site and add that group to the Groups denied access to the self-Service site within the user scope of the management policy in the Password Manager Admin site (see screen shot attached)
