By default the Password Manager website will display something similar to the following requirements for a Password Policy when a user asks to see the policy:
"The password must meet the system complexity requirements.
The password must meet the password length requirements of the system. The minimum password length: 7"
This is by design.
The text that is displayed here can be modified. This makes it possible to explain exactly what the complexity requirements are.
To modify the information that is shown when a user selects to see the password requirements open the following file, on the Password Manager server, using Notepad or a similar text editor:
NOTE: Ensure you copy the original file first for a backup in case the changes need to be reverted.
C:\Program Files\One Identity\Password Manager\Service\Password Policy Manager\texts.ppm
Locate the phrase you would like to change, make the required change, and save the file (See the attached screen shot for reference).
Restart the Password Manager service on the Password Manager server for the changes to take effect.
