How to remind users to change their password before it expires?
Description
How to configure Password Manager to send users email notifications that their password will expire soon.
Resolution
Open the Admin Site
Expand User Enforcement Rules and Reminders
Click Remind Users to Change Password
Confirm the user scope is correct
By default users will start getting a reminder notification 10 days before the password expires and every day afterwards. This setting can be change under Notify users who meet the following conditions (Click Configure)
Modify the email notification to suit your needs. Note: the Self-Service site URL is not included in the email reminder and needs to be added manually if you want it to be included in the reminder email
Click Save
Click Remind Users to Change Password again and click Enable
Click General Settings | Scheduled Tasks
Confirm the Reminder to Change Password task is enabled
Confirm that the domain is listed within the Password Policy tab within the PMAdmin site-> general settings-> password policy
