How to prevent the creation of the Desktop Shortcut for the Self-Service site. (4250000)

After deploying the Secure Password Extension (SPE), a shortcut to the Self Service site is automatically created on the desktop of the client PC.

Is it possible to prevent this behavior?

To prevent the shortcut from being created, configure the Shortcut Policies Group Policy (GPO) in the provided Administrative Template for the SPE.

1. Copy the prm_gina.admx file from the .\Password Manager\Setup\Administrative Template\ folder of the Password Manager installation package to the
   %systemroot%\policyDefinitions folder on the Domain Controller
2. Copy the prm_gina.adml file from the .\Password Manager\Setup\Administrative Template\ folder of the Password Manager installation package to the
   %systemroot%\policyDefinitions\En-US folder on the Domain Controller.
3. Click Start | Run
4. Type gpmc.msc and click OK
5. Right click the policy used to deploy SPE and select Edit
6. Expand Computer Configuration | Policies
7. Right click Administrative Templates and select Add/Remove Templates
8. Click Add, browse for the prm_gina.admx file and click Open
9. Click Close
10. Expand Administrative Templates | One Identity Password Manager | Generic Settings
11. Click Shortcut Policies
12. Double click Do not create desktop shortcuts for the Self-Service site
13. Select Enabled and click OK
