Error 'value cannot be null. Parameter name: s” in History | Reporting (4267257)

Resolution 1:

1. Navigate to QPMAdmin | Reporting | Edit Connections and note down the Database name.
2. Create a new database in the 'SQL Server Connection Settings' window and click "Next"
3. Update the settings in the 'Report Server Connection Settings' window and click "OK"
4. Now go back to step 2 and enter in the old Database name.
5. Complete step 3 again and tho old database should be reconnected
6. Verify that the error has been cleared from “Reporting > History”

If there is no requirement to use the old database then simply ignore steps 4 & 5.

Resolution 2:

If resolution 1 does not fix the problem then

1. Disconnect servers within the QPMadmin site-> Reporting tab
2. Stop Dell Enterprise Auditing service and the QPM service on the QPM server
3. Clear all the folders in QPM server C:\ProgramData\Dell\EAF
4. Delete registry keys on QPM server under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Dell\Enterprise Auditing Service\Products
5. Start Dell Enterprise Auditing Service and QPM service on the QPM server
6. Connect Servers on the Reporting tab in the QPM Admin site and create a new database
7. Run the User Status Statistics scheduled task again
8. Verify that the error has been cleared from “Reporting > History”

Resolution 3 - For Password Manager 5.6.x

1. “PMAdmin | Reporting” disconnect the reporting server.
2. Close the PM web browser
3. Stop the PM service.
4. Delete the contents of the folder C:\ProgramData\Dell\EAF
5. In “PMAdmin | Reporting | Edit Connections” create a new database and database connection.

Or if there is a requirement to use an existing database then enter the name for that database when creating a new connection.

6. Navigate to “PMAdmin | General Settings | Scheduled Tasks” and run the “User Status Statistics” task. By running this task the contents of the folder C:\ProgramData\Dell\EAF are re-created.
7. Once the task has completed go to “PMAdmin | Reporting | History” and check that the correct data is displayed.
