In some instances the EAF container located in the Password Manager instance may be growing too large, e.g. 20-30GB, and consuming the majority of available disk space on the server.
The EAF container is used to index all the data that is stored on Reporting DB. If the Reporting DB size of considerable size, eg. 100-120GB, the EAF will likely cache 20-25% of that data. The only way to mitigate the amount of data stored in the EAF container is to reduce the amount of data retained in the Reporting DB.
SOLUTION
As you will need to select a data range to be cleared from the Reporting DB, you may want to check the creation data of the DB in SQL. This may give you starting date to work from.
Allow the task to run daily for a number of days, or if necessary, manually run the task a number of times. Once the steps above have been performed, please confirm that the Reporting DB size has been reduced. Then, perform the following steps:
a) Stop the Password Manager service and IIS on both of your PM servers
b) Proceed to the container below on the Password Manager servers: C:\ProgramData\One Identity\EAF
c) Delete the GUID that is listed on both servers
d) Re-start the Password Manager service and IIS on both PM servers
e) Navigated to: PMAdmin | General Settings | Schedule Tasks and execute the User Status Statistics task
