Description

Microsoft has acknowledged and released security patches for a critical-rated Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in Windows Remote Procedure Call (RPC). A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending constant or intermittent payloads and successfully execute code on affected system. Does Password Manager application uses "Remote Procedure Call Runtime RCE"?
Resolution

The Password Manager Service and the Password Manager PPM/SPE components can be affected by the Windows Network File System Remote Code Execution Vulnerability.

It is strongly advised to update all required systems with the security patch released by Micorosft on June 14th 2022.
