Description
When attempting to start the Password Manager service, the service fails to start immediately with the following error:
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Verbose logging files are not generated.

Cause
The productinfo.xml file located at this path by default has been incorrectly modified:
C:\Program Files\One Identity\Password Manager\Service\Resources\productinfo.xml -
Resolution
Restore the default copy of this file or revert all changes.
