Description
On a seemingly random basis, some users will encounter the following: Error in the application: System error occurred. For more information, view the event log.
The event viewer will show an Error with something similar to the following:

Cause
There is a hardware load balancer between the server hosting the User Site and the server(s) hosting the Password Manager Service which is not configured to allow SSL Persistence. It is therefore disconnecting the SSL session used to pass encrypted information between these servers. -
Resolution
Configure the hardware load balancer to allow SSL Persistence between these servers. For more information, please contact the vendor of your hardware load balancer.
