Description
When launching the "Forgot My Password" action from the Logon screen, a Web Proxy disclaimer appears and the SPE client exits -
Cause
Proxy settings have not been configured for the SPE administrative template when deploying via a group policy -
Resolution
Within the administrative template ensure that the following settings are enabled under Proxy Settings:
- Enable proxy server access is set to enabled
- Configure required proxy settings needs to be enabled and one of the fields populated
- Ensure that the "Automatic Discovery Flag" and "Connection Type Flag" within the "Configure optional proxy settings" are set to the correct value.
These values will need to be toggled to suit the needs of the environment where it is deployed.
