The license usage report in Management Console for Unix shows zero licenses in use for Privilege Manager for Sudo after upgrading the Primary policy server to version 6.1. -
Cause
Product Defect.
The permissions on the /opt/quest/sbin/pmlicense binary are incorrect. -
Resolution
STATUS:
Awaiting a fix in a future release of Privilege Manager for Sudo.
WORKAROUND:
Run the following chmod command on the Primary policy server to correct the permissions on the binary file after upgrading to version 6.1.
# chmod 4750 /opt/quest/sbin/qpm4u_610_0/pmlicense
