Failed to check policy for errors. Verify that server is accessible and try again. -
Description
In the Management Console, every time a policy is opened an error is displayed. In the mcu logs file, the following error is reported:

com.quest.sugi.exception.NetworkException: Could not unelevate the session. Close and reopen a new session. -
Cause
There is a policy with spaces in the name

Resolution
Remove the rogue policy.
Make sure the spaces in the policy name are escaped out and not enclosed in quotes.
Eg: use Test\ Policy.profile and not “Test Policy.profile”
# /opt/quest/sbin/pmpolicy checkout -d /var/tmp
# /opt/quest/sbin/pmpolicy remove -d /var/tmp/policy_pmpolicy -p profiles/Test\ Policy.profile
# /opt/quest/sbin/pmpolicy commit -d /var/tmp
