Logs are filling up after upgrading QPM4U agents to Hotfix 5.5.2-036 -
Description
After upgrading QPM4U to hotfix 5.5.2-036 the logs on the masters are being filled with pmmasterd entries.
Jan 27 13:47:32 hostname xinetd[2106]: START: pmmasterd pid=4134 from=192.168.1.1
Jan 27 13:48:50 hostname xinetd[2106]: START: pmmasterd pid=4143 from=192.168.1.1
Jan 27 13:49:02 hostname xinetd[2106]: START: pmmasterd pid=4146 from=192.168.1.1
Each START is accompanied by an EXIT as well and they are occuring one minute apart.

Cause
Due to a product defect, when pmloadcheck starts it does not default to running every sixty minutes. Instead it runs every 60 seconds.

Resolution
The resolution is to restart pmloadcheck on the agents so they run every 60 minutes.
First stop.
/opt/quest/sbin/pmloadcheck -s
Then this command to start.
/opt/quest/sbin/pmloadcheck -i

Additional Information
This only affects masters running on Linux. The logs are actually occuring based on xinetd starting and stopping the pmmasterd process. Other operating systems such as Solaris do not use xinetd for pmmasterd.
