Installing QPM 6 on RHEL PPC64 -
Description
When trying to install Privilege Manager for Unix 6 on a Red Hat PPC64 server several errors are encountered, such as:
error while loading shared libraries: libpam.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Cause
Some additional 32bit packages need to be installed from the RHEL media before QPM can be installed on these systems. -
Resolution
The following packages need to be installed before attempting to install Privilege Manager:
libX11pamxz-libszlibncurses-libsWhen installing these packages several additional packages will also be installed as dependencies, those should includelibxcb
libXauaudit-libs
cracklib
libdb
libselinuxlibgcc
libstdc++
pcre -
