TPAM Login Banner appearing three times during the login -
Description
All TPAM users who are set to use 2 factor authentication are seeing the Login Banner message multiple times.
a) User inserts the username and password and clicks on Login
b) Banner message pops up
c) User is prompt to chose the 2nd factor authentication. Once selected, user clicks on Login
d) Banner message pops up
e) User receives the OTP on the phone, it puts it on the text box and and clicks on Login
f) Banner message pops up
g) user has now access to TPAM -
Cause
This has been confirmed as a product defect -
Resolution
STATUS:
This issue has been resolved and can be fixed by applying Hotfix_10008.zip. The fix will also be included in the 2.5.920 release.
WORKAROUND:
The banners cannot be prevented without the hotfix, however, the user can simply dismiss the messages. -
