Safeguard Authentication Services

One Identity is excited to announce a new version of Safeguard Authentication Services (previously named Authentication Services) is now available.

Look what's new in 5.0:

• Ansible support
• Explicit mapping of users to valid certificates
• Group policy updates
• Support for unattended join
• See the Release Notes for details on enhancements, resolved issues and improvements. 

IMPORATANT NOTE: 

Serial Number is the same as a License Number. 

This new release of Safeguard Authentication Services requires a new license key. Please obtain the new key before installing the new release. To obtain a new key, please refer to the License Key Upgrade page: License Key Upgrade.

For steps required to upgrade from Authentication Services 4.x to Safeguard Authentication Services 5.0, please refer to KB 325736.

CAUTION: If you upgrade Safeguard Authentication Services before adding the license, the caches will empty and SAS will be un-useable. You can add the license then either rejoin or restart vasd and run vastool flush. You can update the Control Center any time without issue.
