Two Factor Authentication via Starling Hybrid Subscription

Thank you for your continued support of One Identity solutions.

As previously announced, One Identity will no longer offer Two Factor Authentication via the Starling Hybrid Subscription after November 1, 2022. The One Identity Hybrid Subscription that included support for Two Factor Authentication for Safeguard for Privileged Passwords as well as Approval Anywhere will be discontinued in the next release of Safeguard for Privileged Passwords (7.0). 

How does this affect me?

If you are using your One Identity Hybrid Subscription with Safeguard for Privileged Passwords for Approval Anywhere or for Two Factor Authentication, these features will cease to function as of November 1st, 2022.

Resolution 

• Safeguard for Privileged Passwords version 7.0 will include native Two Factor Authentication support for OneLogin 2FA (subscription required) and is currently planned for release in June
• Safeguard for Privileged Passwords is designed to work with RADIUS, this includes both on-premise and cloud installations
• Documented steps on how to configure RADIUS for Two Factor Authentication are included in the One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Passwords Administration Guide
• Cloud Assistant has replaced the Approval Anywhere functionality starting in version 6.13. We recommend customers migrate to Cloud Assistant for an enhanced experience.
