Defender 6.3

One Identity is excited to announce a new release of Defender is now available.

Look what's new in 6.3:

• Authentication using new Token FIDO2: Introducing FIDO2 protocol for authentication of users on ISAPI client with compatible YubiKey hardware token.
• User-Friendly UX: A user friendly UX for the ISAPI client, to use FIDO2 compatible token for authentication.
• FIDO2 Token Management through Management Portal: Admin can manage FIDO2 tokens and perform Program/Edit/Delete actions through Management Portal.
• FIDO2 Token has priority during authentication: FIDO2 tokens are prioritized first in case other types of token are also assigned to the user.
• Users can now utilize FIDO2 compatible token for Defender authentication.
• Defender now supports authentication via Microsoft Authenticator app (Android devices). 
• Defender now supports authentication via OneLogin Protect App (Android devices).

Defender version 6.1 support is discontinued 30-Jan-2024. Version 6.2 enters into limited support as of 30-Aug-2023. To determine the current support phase of your product, please refer to the Defender Life Cycle table.
