Some load balancer solutions have the ability to monitor a status page and make redirection decisions based on status codes on that page.
This is not currently a feature of Active Roles.

Causa
An Enhancement Request has been created to have include this functionality in a future version of the product. The Enhancement Request ID is 91056.
There is no guarantee that a specific enhancement request will be implemented in a future release of the product.

WORKAROUNDSuch a status page could be implemented as a custom solution.
