LDAP Connector: createTimeStamp filter produces "the syntax is invalid" error. (4379517)

When having a target system of eDirectory v9.2.9 (or above),  and trying to load objects of any objectClass (e.g. organizationalUnit) in the target system browser - results in the following error(s):

[1777018] Error running synchronization project (LDAP Domain (ihk-gfi))'s workflow (Initial Synchronization).
[1777124] Error running synchronization step (Locality) of synchronization configuration (Initial Synchronization (Initial Synchronization)).
[1777009] Error loading system objects of class Locality (all) (Locality_Master).
[1807000] Error running LDAP query. Error Message: The syntax is invalid.
Response result code: (21) InvalidAttributeSyntax
Response message: NDS error: no additional information available (-306)

---> System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.DirectoryOperationException: The syntax is invalid.

The filter contains a TimeStamp value in format "yyyyMMddHHmmss.f'Z", with the milliseconds-part after the point-delimiter. 

Some LDAP vendors have problems processing requests of this syntax.
