HOW TO: Hide the "Help" icon in the Password Manager SelfService site (4380016)

In Password Manager 5.13 and later versions, it is possible to edit the configuration files on each Password Manager host in order to hide the "Help" icon.

1. As a local administrator on the Password Manager host, browse to the following path:

<DRIVE>:\Program Files\One Identity\Password Manager\Web\SelfService\Scripts\libs\assets\config

2. Back up the config.json file that this folder contains to a safe location
3. Edit the config.json file and modify the URL that is populated for the helpLink - leave only the quotation marks, so that it looks like this:

"helpLink": ""

4. Save the file
5. In an elevated command prompt, perform an IISRESET
6. Repeat these steps on all Password Manager hosts

NOTE: This change will be reverted by an upgrade of Password Manager, and the changes will need to be re-played on all Password Manager hosts.
