fatal error libm.so.2 not found (4282030)

Received the error fatal error libm.so.2 not found  when trying to start  vasgpd or running the vgptool command

[[root@test] /etc/init.d # ./vasgpd start

ld.so.1: vasgpd: fatal: libm.so.2: open failed: No such file or directory Killed vasgpd failed to start

[root@sapbws] /opt/quest/bin # ./vgptool

ld.so.1: vgptool: fatal: libm.so.2: open failed: No such file or directory Killed

The wrong package was installed on the Solaris 9 Sparc machine. 

Install the the Solaris 8 Sparc package on Solaris 9 machines by doing the following:

# cd /<mount point>/client/solaris8-sparc

# pkgadd -d vasclnt_SunOS_5.8_sparc-<version>.<build number>.pkg vasclnt vasgp
