While attempting AD synch of pwdHash attribute, the synchronization fails with the error:
Synchronization steps aborted.
The error is returned by AD. In order to retrieve the pwdHash value from AD, QC sends a request to the DC where the CaptureAgent is installed for each user account. The issue seems to relate to a possible overload at the DC’s side, forcing the Directory Service to return the experienced error.
A product defect has been logged (TF00417973). A retry will be coded in case this type of failure occurs.
This will be fixed on a future release of the product. If you require this immediately corrected, please contact support for a hotfix referencing the defect ID TF00417973.
