After changing a password in Office 365 user is prompted for a new password (4226892)

After Quick Connect for Cloud Services has synchronized a user's password from Active Directory to Office 365, Office 365 prompts the user to change the password when logging into the Office 365 portal.

WORKAROUND

Add the following rule to the password synchronization attribute flow:

ForceChangePassword = FALSE

1. In the Quick Connect Administration Console, select the Password Synchronization tab
2. In the right pane, select the item corresponding to the target Office 365 connection
3. Select the Password Sync Settings link
4. Select Rules To Modify Object Attributes (or Attribute Flow rules in the older versions)
5. Add the following rule (see attached screenshot):
   • Source system Rule:
     • Type: Text
     • Value: FALSE
   • Target system Attribute:
     • ForceChangePassword
