After setting up email notifications within Quick Connect to send alerts whenever a workflow step completes or aborts in error the notification is not received by the recepient
When checking the QuickConnectServerHost.log the following error message is displayed:
Call of the event handler failed! Dell.QuickConnect.Server.Execution.WorkflowExecutionController.SendEvent System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: Padding is invalid and cannot be removed
Open the Quick Connect management console and navigate to manage alerts. Confirm if the default mail profile has the username and password fields populated but the authentication check box is unchecked.
Check the authentication check box, clear the username and password fields. Then remove the check mark from the authentication box and click OK.
