If UAC is enabled during Quick Connect setup, the QC Event Log does not get created on Windows 20
Description

If UAC is enabled during Quick Connect setup, the QC Event Log does not get created on Windows 2008 R2.
Cause

The installer does not prompt for Windows UAC authorization.
Resolution

Either disable UAC prior to installating or run the installer as Administrator (right-click, Run as Administrator).
