In previous versions of Authentication Services, namely 4.0.3-184 and below on Solaris 10/11 the home directory was being hard corded to /export/home by default.
In 4.0.3-192 this behavior has been changed so that during install we create a user-override entry in /etc/opt/quest/vas/user-override that sets home directories to /export/home by default
If this behavior is not desirable remove the entry that gets created in /etc/opt/quest/vas/user-override so that the default attribute value is used instead.
Example of the override entry
# cat user-override
#Default overrides for use with Solaris 10+
#Remove this entry if you are not using the default home directory on Solaris.
*:::::/export/home/%s:
Note: This file gets installed on Solaris 10 and 11, on upgrades on fresh installs on version 4.0.3.192. From 4.0.3.198 this file will only be installed for fresh installs on Solaris 11.
